The site is open !
Sico gets bigger ! The construction of a 3rd site in the "plaine de l'Ain" is over. The new site will have first 2000 m² for the conditioning and the storage of aerosols and liquids. In the end, the entire site will have an expense of 7000 m².

A particular stress has been given on the safety for this new site.

The structure of the buildings as well as the organization of the workshops have been made according to the respect of the standards and the regulations in force, but also taking into account the various studies of prevention of the risks related to the aerosols. The buildings thus present all the necessary guarantees of safety, as well for its part conditioning, formulation as on the storage of the aerosols.

The site will also allow to bring the image of a successfull integration in the environment of the "plaine de l'ain", which is the first european industrial park certified ISO 14001 and registered in EMAS.

On the functional hand, this new site will package soluble and non flammable gases initially, an authorization request being in hand for flammable gases and for an extension of storages here at the end of 2010.

With this new site, SICO demonstrates its dynamism in spite of an unfavorable economic environment. It will also allow SICO to enforce the cosmetic sector and will offer a potential development in the food sector.
