Environment issue : beware of the japanese hornet
Recognizable thanks to its thorax entirely brown velvety black and with its brown abdominal segments, bordered with a fine yellow band orange. The 4th segment of the abdomen is almost entirely yellow orange. The brown legs are yellow in the butt. The head is black and the face is yellow-orange.

This species is impossible to confuse with the only species of alive hornet in France, the European hornet, Crabo Vespa, which has the body stained of russet-red, black & yellow and a yellow abdomen striped of black.

SICO produces the high-powered hornet insecticide KING that has showed great performance with the japanese hornet during tests in an accredit laboratory, with a full-mortality in less than 5 seconds.
